HELP CENTER

  • What sizes do you offer?
Available sizes: The width is fixed and can not be changed. Refer to the table below for available lengths.
  • How to choose the right polytunnel/greenhouse
There are many different styles of greenhouses and polytunnels on the market. They differ by size, frame and cover material and style. The appearance, size and material quality should be the deciding factor in choosing the right polytunnel or greenhouse. Polyeco Greenhouses offer three different styles: Arch ( The Classic, The Tube), House (The House, The Bernard) and Arrow (The Spade). Mentioned products only differ by shape and size and are made from the same quality materials. Look carefully at all of the pictures and read the features before making a decision.
  • What are the benefits of polytunnel/greenhouse
A polytunnel will enable the gardener to grow fruit and vegetable plants that they would otherwise be unable to grow in their climate. They also extend your growing season so you can grow your favourite foods all year round. Temperature, humidity, irrigation and ventilation can all be easily controlled via the wide range of polytunnel equipment commonly available.
  • What is a polycarbonate polytunnel
A polytunnel is a tunnel typically made from steel and covered in polyethylene or in our case - polycarbonate, usually semi-circular, square or elongated in shape. The interior heats up because incoming solar radiation from the sun warms plants, soil, and other things inside the building faster than heat can escape the structure.
  • What type of doors do you offer?
The Polyeco Greenhouse range has outward opening stable type doors. The top part can be left open to provide additional ventilation, while the closed bottom part stops animals from getting inside. The rear of the greenhouse has a window (the top part of the stable door). You can add an additional rear stable door if access from both sides is required.
  • What is the difference between 4mm and 6mm polycarbonate cover?
The main diference between two thicknesses is the insulation. Thicker cover will extend your growing season and will protect your plants agains cold conditions. The 6mm is slightly more impact resistant too. Both types are UV protected and comes with the 10 year manufacturers warranty against UV damage.
  • Ventilation
Ventilation is very important. More plants die from heat than cold. We recommend adding 1x automated vent for each 2m section. No power supply is required, and the vent will open and close automatically.
